Overnight Family Adventure
Our overnight trips on the Colorado River provide fun for the whole family!
Our Overnight Family Adventure trip starts with a short scenic drive to historic Dewey Bridge on ther Colorado River. This is the point where the boats will launch. Here you will have the option of paddling your own inflatable kayak, paddling as a group in a paddle boat, or relaxing while your guide rows the rowboat through the Fisher Towers section of the Colorado River.
Camp features one of the most incredible views on the Colorado River, with an evening sky that is second to none. A delicious Dutch oven dinner is followed by hands-on activities and games that help your kids make their own discoveries about nature and the environment they're experiencing. Parents can join in on the fun or savor some quiet time relaxing with the knowledge that their children are being well cared for.
The second day is spent winding along the edge of Arches National Park where you're surrounded by spectacular red canyon walls, mesas, and towers. This is movie country where "City Slickers II" and "Thelma and Louise" were filmed along with classics such as "Wagonmaster" and John Wayne's "Rio Grande" and "Commancheros." After navigating several fun, splashy rapids, and enjoying lunch on a sandy beach, we will exit the river a few miles up stream from Moab. Transportation will be provided back to town by 4:00 p.m.
